What do Beer, my Grandmother, and Journalism have in common?
Answer: They are themes among my online reading. I finally added some links to external sites on the left column of Nate News.
Here are some themes from of the list of 24 blogs I frequent…
So some highlights from my online reading list:
-
Grandmother: Go comment on my grandmother’s charming blog! She’s a super fast learner and I love interacting with her online between my real visits.
-
Beer: My brother is starting a microbrewery in Atlanta. Psh.. whatever, pretty impressive. He’s also brilliant at online branding. (But I beat him at chess this one time.)
-
Journalism: I frequent Nashville is Talking for innovations in journalism. It looks like Christian has recently revamped the “10 from twitter” feature, which spotlights unique perspectives from the community. It also increases repeat traffic because people check to see if their pithy remarks get picked up. Bravo.
-
Belmont: Check out the fairly new Dr. Syb Blog. She was a creative modivater when she professored me, and it’s nice to have the luxury of following her new media projects now!
-
Tech: Here’s a plug for Chris Brogan. He’s a social media expert who seems focused on the community rather than measuring his numbers. It’s refreshing to have his leadership.
-
Nashville: Duh… Nashvillest. In a year the blogging-duo has established themselves as a Nashville jugernaut from consistent, relevent content. Next up… a post from Captain Obvious.
What blog should I be reading that’s not on my list?
